Julia Ilyina

Communication Manager

Julia Ilyina started working at EuroPris in 2016 as an Office Manager. In 2020, as the organisation was expanding, Julia took over a new position as the Communication Manager. Her current tasks are to manage the communication strategy, maintain the website and the database on prison European Prison Information System (EPIS). She is also the main contact point for the EPTA network and managing communications as part of the EPTA II project (2021-2024). Her previous experiences were working as coaching assistant at the Hague University of Applied Sciences and having internships at the Netherlands Helsinki Committee (NHC), Institute for Cultural Diplomacy and Nuffic, Dutch organisation for internationalisation in education. Julia acquired her master degree in Russian and Eurasian studies and a bachelor degree in European studies. Julia has a Russian and Finnish background.

Julia speaks Russian, English, Dutch, Finnish and German (intermediate).
