Introduction: The Corps of Prison and Court Guard has decided to actively increase the security of prison staff. One of the possible measures is also the pilot introduction and use of cameras on uniforms of the selected prison staff (staff ensuring internal security and keeping the good order in prisons). In this regard, they would like to be inspired by the prison services that use the cameras on uniforms (either pilot or active operation).

If yes, what kind of cameras do you use on uniforms? These cameras were originally introduced in a pilot which proved successful and are now introduced service wide.
If yes, are there any demonstrable data on the benefits of using the cameras on uniforms (studies, reports, etc.)?There are a number of commercially available cameras all of which serve the same purpose. They are secured by either a “crocodile” clip to uniform shirts or suspended on a lanyard which is worn around the neck. These cameras are placed on a charger at the end of each shift. The cameras are manually switched on when required and provide evidential quality images. The cameras record both picture and sound.
