In December 2017, the FORINER project will come to an end. To ensure that important steps are taken to provide more and better distance education to foreign national prisoners in Europe, on 28 November 2017, in Brussels, the FORINER team will share the project results with partners, stakeholders, policy makers and practitioners. It will be a proud moment to share the culmination of all the hard work that has gone into the project over the last 24 months.
The FORINER Final Conference will include a formal presentation of the project results emphasizing the policy recommendations to European and national politicians. We will try to reach European Commissioners and Ministers responsible for adult education and justice departments and many other professionals in the field of prison education who showed interest for the project from the beginning.
The conference will be dissemination and networking opportunity. Therefore the project partners would like to invite everyone interested in the field of prison education to take part in the event. Furthermore, within this event we will contribute to the exploitation of the project’s results by helping the practitioners getting started in their own working field.
We hope that by sharing our knowledge and experience gained during the project the participants will find it a useful resource that they can use in their own activities.
