The ICT Workshop was planned to take place in Vienna this year. The Program Committee has now decided that it would be more feasible to hold an online event. On 29 & 30 September half- a-day morning sessions are planned with plenary presentations and breakout sessions. Topics will include intelligent prisons, video linking, data driven decision making, digital services for inmates, impact of Covid-19 on the use of technology and more.
The ICT expert group updated the ICT Matrix originally launched during the ICT Workshop in Stockholm in 2018. The updated ICT Matrix was demonstrated during the workshop – more information to follow on the EuroPris Website.
The attendance at the workshop was high with 97 attendees on the first morning and 85 attendees on the second morning.
EuroPris workshops are open for European public sector representatives, academics and NGOs only.
