Response to question: 220425: Integrated Case Management in Practice: Approaches to Reintegration
The Scottish Prison Service are currently undergoing exploratory work around the impact of our Integrated Case Management (ICM) system. ICM is a process where multiple agencies work closely with the Scottish Prison Service to support prisoners to deal with social or personal difficulties to reduce re-offending at the point of release. The ICM is an opportunity for prisoners to highlight areas where they feel they require more support to improve their chances of reintegration post-release. As part of this exploration, we would like to gather information about the approach other EuroPris member organisations take to manage a prisoner’s pathway during the individual’s time in custody.
