EuroPris has an important role to advance the exchange of knowledge on prison practice by facilitating expert groups. Experts benefit by collecting and sharing good practices and finding solutions for challenges in the prison field. They also support policymakers in defining European standards.
We are setting up two new expert groups, Prison Security and Staff Wellbeing, which were approved by the Annual General Meeting in Seville in 2022:
Moreover, ICT expert group is renewing its members, and Real Estate & Logistics expert group has still vacancies to allocate:
We are issuing calls for nominations for these expert groups. There is a critical benefit of being a EuroPris expert: Experts are ambassadors of the sending agency representing the country and sharing national-specific information. Specific information can bring value to your own jurisdiction. Being a EuroPris expert is valuable for personal and professional development. The role of an expert is associated with high expertise and a good reputation.

If you or your jurisdiction is interested to become part of one or more expert groups, please submit your nomination, to [email protected] by 10 March 2023.
