The project “SERENY Strengthening approaches for the prevention of youth radicalisation in prison and probation settings “ is inviting professionals to participate in a survey. This study is being done in a cooperation in five countries. The SERENY project aims to contribute to the prevention and decrease of radicalisation in European prisons by providing actionable knowledge on young adults (between the age of 18 and 29) inmates considered as vulnerable/at risk groups who could be or become radicalised and by assessing the effectiveness of existing radicalisation prevention programmes and practices.
The survey is mainly targeted to: prison and probation staff, judicial staff, legal practitioners, psychologists, educators, social workers, governmental officials in the justice field, experts and researchers in the criminal justice and or P/CVE.
The goal of the questionnaire is to collect comparabla data and personal experiences from professionals and experts dealing with youth radicalisation in prison in order to gain a better knowledge and understanding of what is being done in each country to prevent radicalisation among young inmates (general approach, methods, risk assessment tools, etc.)
If you agree to take part in this project, you will be asked to complete an online survey (see below). This survey will ask about your perceptions and your experience of work with young people in prison. It will take you approximately 15 to 20 minutes to complete.
All your answers will remain anonymous, we are not collecting personal information that will make it possible to identify any participant in the survey. We respect and follow the GDPR.
Your participation in this study is completely voluntary and you can withdraw at any time. You are free to skip any question that you choose.
The survey will be open until end of April.
