Real Life training will take place from 18-22 June 2018 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Real Life is a blended learning platform for (ex-) prisoners. It can be accessed via an account on the website my-real.life. Blended learning means a combination of offline and online tools to train 21st century skills. Real Life focuses specifically on the reintegration process and in particular the themes identity, leadership, agency and citizenship are discussed. These four themes are all discussed extensively during the Real Life training which lasts about 50 hours in total, including self study. How these 50 hours are distributed is flexible. The training can be spread over a few months with 1.5 hours per day training or in 2 weeks with 2 times 2.5 hours of training per day. With the Real Life Pathways app the detainees can create their own reintegration plan.
