This year, we received over 30 applications for the Prison Achievement Award, showcasing an impressive range of innovative and impactful initiatives from across the globe. After a fruitful discussion, the panel narrowed it down to five outstanding nominees who were then voted upon by attendees at this year’s Annual General Meeting held in Sofia, Bulgaria.
We are thrilled to announce that the winner for this year is Portugal’s Estabelecimento Prisional de Torres Novas Prison for their Vertical Horticulture, Horizontal Solidarity initiative.
