This summary provides an overview of the EPTA Cross-Border Training on Practical Crisis Management for Prison Managers, organised by the European Penitentiary Training Academies (EPTA) network from 16–18 June and hosted by the University of Justice in Kalisz, Poland.
The three-day training brought together prison professionals from ten countries to exchange experiences, strengthen international cooperation, and explore practical approaches to crisis management in prison settings. Through expert-led sessions and practical exercises, participants enhanced their leadership skills and preparedness to manage crisis situations effectively.
