”What Works in Custodial Design?” Workshop Save the Date
On 30-31 March 2020, a 2-day workshop will be organised at the University of Birmingham, UK, addressing the question ‘What Works in Custodial Design?’.
Day 1 of the event will feature leading international researchers (from US, Europe and Australia) presenting outcomes of their research into ways of measuring and assessing ‘success’ in prison design, as well as evidence of the effectiveness of design for delivering intended outcomes. Day 2 will focus on identifying knowledge needs to inform future research.
Professionals and practitioners are warmly invited to attend the workshop, which will be free to attend (other than optional catering, should delegates choose to order it). However, there is unfortunately no funding available for travel or accommodation.
If EuroPris colleagues are interested to attend, they are invited to contact Dr. Dominique Moran at [email protected], to ensure that they receive notification of registration, when this is open.
