The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is the gathering where Director Generals and their deputies/liaisons convene to discuss member needs and the development of the organisation.
We extend our gratitude to The General Directorate Execution of Sentences of Bulgaria for hosting this event. On the evening of 25th June, both EuroPris and the hosts will extend invitations to participants for a welcoming reception at the Grand Hotel Millennium Sofia.
Each member organisation has the privilege of sending two delegates to the AGM. This event follows the Council of Europe annual Conference of Directors of Prison and Probation Services (CDPPS), scheduled to occur in Sofia from 24th to 25th June.
The agenda for this year’s AGM includes horizon scanning sessions aimed at discerning the future requirements of European prison services. Subsequent discussions will focus on EuroPris’ prospective role and the strategic roadmap for 2025-2028. Additionally, participants will engage in dialogues regarding how EuroPris can further bolster support for them in their capacities as Director Generals.
Moreover, the AGM will feature the announcement of the recipient of the 2024 Prison Achievement Award.
