The European Penitentiary Training Academy Network (EPTA) is organising an online event on 17 May 2021 on Managing Difficult Inmates in staff training.
As part of the current EPTA project ‘Tackling Gaps in Cross-Border Cooperation for Penitentiary Training Academies’, the Special Interest Groups (SIGs) published training manuals on Leadership and Management, Dynamic Security and Managing Difficult Inmates. For each topic, there will be an online event held this spring. These online events are organised for trainers, training specialists, prison staff involved in training and education, who are interested in the subjects covered in the training manuals. Members of the SIGs will be presenting at the events, and participants will be encouraged to actively engage in discussions about the use and content of the training manuals, as well as exchange experiences with training on these topics.
