This 12th Annual General Meeting will take place in the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities in Berlin, Germany. The AGM is kindly hosted by the German Federal Ministry of Justice.
EuroPris AGM will precede the Council of Europe Annual Conference of Prison and Probation Directors (CDPPS) on 6-7 June.
The second EuroPris Prison Achievement Award will be presented during the AGM where the winner will be awarded. The awarded prison will be invited to present their work and receive the Prison Achievement Award.

There will be an evening welcome reception on 4 June at the Federal Ministry of Justice, Berlin, and the AGM will commence at 09:00 on 5 June.

Participation at the 12th Annual General Meeting is available only to members of EuroPris
Registration
Please register for the EuroPris AGM by 15 May at the latest, using the joint AGM/CDPPS registration form by clicking here.
Venue
The event will begin with the evening reception on Sunday, 4 June at 19:00 (registration opens at 18:00) in the Federal Ministry of Justice. Please note that you will need your ID to enter the building.
The opening of the Annual General Meeting will be on Monday at 09:00, at the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities – Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities (bbaw.de) on the 5th floor in the Einstein Hall of the building.
The two event locations are in the city center, only a few walking minutes apart.

Registration Desk
Registration to the event will begin on Sunday 4 June, at 18:00 and continue until the evening reception at 19:00. On Monday, 5 June, you may also register from 08:30-9:00 at the AGM venue.

EuroPris AGM 2023 – Travel Policy
The cost of attendance at the AGM & Conference for two representatives of EuroPris’ member jurisdictions including economy class flight tickets and one night in the hotel (4 June) will be covered by EuroPris by reimbursement.
Important: Participants book their own economy class flight tickets and their hotel rooms.
Flights
EuroPris will reimburse maximum of 350 euros per person (round-trip ticket) for the flights of the participants. Early flight bookings will help keep the ticket prices at a reasonable level. If a ticket costs largely exceed this amount, please consult the Secretariat: [email protected]
Hotel
EuroPris will reimburse the costs for accommodation of 4 June, up to 129 Euro.
Transport from Berlin Airport (BER) to the city center/ hotels
Please note that there is no travel arrangement for the transfer from/to the airport!
There are several ways to get from Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) to the city centre: FEX, S-Bahn, Regional trains, taxi. The railway station is located in Terminal 1 on level U2. Airport Express (FEX) and regional trains run several times an hour between Berlin Central Station and the station “Flughafen BER – Terminal 1-2”. BER Airport is located in the C Zone of Berlin’s transport system, so you have to buy an ABC ticket. o Taxi – Take a taxi from Berlin Brandenburg Airport Airport (BER) – 45 min; Cost: 50 €
Public transport from BER airport to Arcotel John F: Regional train RE7 (direction Dessau, Hauptbahnhof) to station “Friedrichstraße”. From here take bus 147 in the direction Stadtmitte until station “Werderscher Markt”. Please click here to see more information.

Reimbursement
Travel and accommodation costs will be reimbursed after submitting a declaration form. The declaration form can be downloaded here. In order to be reimbursed, participants have to submit digital pdf-copies of the ticket invoice for both flights and the invoice of their hotel payment together with the filled-in and signed cost declaration form after the event to [email protected]. EuroPris will reimburse only 50% of the ticket price if the participant stays longer for the CDPPS or for a private purpose.
