Aune Nuyttens embarked on her journey with EuroPris in early 2024, assuming the role of Programme Content and Events Manager. She engages in all facets of EuroPris’ events, from initial planning to seamless execution. Aune holds a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies from St. Lawrence University in the United States and a Master of Arts in Human Rights Studies from Lund University in Sweden. Her interest in the prison sector was sparked by research conducted in Nepal’s prisons, sparking a genuine passion for the field.
Before joining EuroPris, Aune Nuyttens gained valuable experience in event management through roles at prominent Nordic documentary film festivals in Sweden and Denmark. Coming from a Finnish-Belgian background, she now lives in The Hague, Netherlands. Drawing from her interdisciplinary academic and professional background, along with a wealth of international experiences, she brings a broad perspective to her work within the organisation.
