Aune Nuyttens joined EuroPris in 2024 as Event Manager and is currently Member & Development Manager. She leads member engagement and development initiatives, supports the development of EuroPris’ operations and services, coordinates the EuroPris Liaison Network, manages the Prison Overcrowding project, and coordinates the Trends & Forecasting Expert Group. She also organises a wide range of EuroPris activities, including conferences, Annual General Meetings, workshops, and other events.
Aune holds a BA in Global Studies from St. Lawrence University (USA) and an MA in Human Rights Studies from Lund University (Sweden). With a Finnish-Belgian background and international experience in event management, she brings an international and multidisciplinary perspective to her work.
