Output of the EuroPris Staff Wellbeing Expert Group
This tool is designed to help administrations and organisations reflect on how their current practices align with the five dimensions of staff wellbeing identified in the EuroPris Handbook: Health, Leadership, Work Environment, Relationships, and Purpose.
By responding to a set of questions, you will receive tailored guidance on which handbook sections may be most useful to explore further, based on the areas where your responses indicate greater development potential. This is not a judgement or performance assessment, but a way to help you navigate the handbook content more effectively and support ongoing reflection and learning within your team.
How to use the Self-Assessment Tool
The tool consists of a questionnaire covering five well-being areas.
You can choose to:
Answer all questions (recommended for a complete overview!), or focus only on the areas that are currently most relevant to you.
After submitting your responses, you will receive guidance on where to start in the handbook:
🔴 Red – areas that require immediate attention
🟠 Orange – areas with room for improvement
🟢 Green – areas where your organisation is already performing well (with additional ideas for inspiration)
Regardless of how many questions you answer, the tool will suggest relevant handbook sections tailored to your needs.
Please note: the purpose of this tool is not evaluation, but to support prison organisations in identifying opportunities for further investment in staff wellbeing.
Submitted responses are collected only by EuroPris exclusively for research purposes and to improve and further develop the handbook content over time.
